Under the direction of the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant and Financial Analyst performs a wide variety of accounting and reporting functions which include but are not limited to: financial analysis, financial statement preparation, annual budget preparation, and interim projections, developing financial models and special projects as assigned.

- Preparing periodic financial statements including month-end and year-end closing, and related workpapers.
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
- Analyzing accounting issues, researching related authoritative literature and documenting appropriate accounting treatment.
- Analyzing current and historical financial data.
- Developing financial projections and building financial models.
- Performing analysis of key business information and drivers, presenting recommendations to company’s operations leadership.
- Performing periodic analysis of cost and revenue forecasts, and assisting in budget development,
- Developing initiatives, policies, and controls to comply with financial guidelines and regulations, and improve financial growth of the company.
- Performing other tasks and assignments as required
- Any other duties applicable to the position
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in accounting and financial analysis
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal supervision
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and relevant accounting software and platforms, preferably MS Dynamics GP.
- Ability to run queries, design and run reports in the operating and financial systems
