RFA Specialist

Overview

CGFNS International, Inc. is embarking on an effort to enhance our world class database of information pertaining to education systems, regulation and related structures globally that support nursing and allied health professions. CGFNS is seeking a qualified candidate to help populate this database through research and data entry. The ideal candidate will be assigned specific research tasks and will be expected to creatively utilize online resources to locate and document findings.

Essential Functions

  • Process RFA tickets in QuickBase ticketing system
  • Process RFA and reverification requests and responses based on weekly ANS escalation lists.
  • Verify applicant is linked to correct school/licensing authority before sending RFA letter.
  • Send RFA letters and signature/seals sheets to school and licensing authorities via email and postal mail (trackable mail if necessary), upload RFA letters to CERPASS 1 maintenance database for institutions.
  • Send reverification requests with copies of applicant’s documents to schools/licensing authorities, upload PDF of Reverification letter under Correspondence in the applicant’s account.
  • Close duplicate RFA requests submitted via QuickBase; consolidate multiple requests for the same institution into single RFA ticket.
  • Close RFA requests that are incorrectly created.
  • Research schools that are not in database and add them to the CERPASS 1 maintenance database based upon requests from Information Input Specialists.
  • Process reverification responses and update status of RFA tickets in QuickBase, upload s reverification responses to CERPASS 1 and 2 and update the order line requirement status for applicants.
  • Upload RFA log sheets to CERPASS 1 maintenance database and update applicants’ order line requirements statuses in CERPASS 1 and CERPASS 2 that were pending RFA response, update s school information with new or additional contact information.
  • Conduct searches of websites for domestic and international schools and licensing authorities to verify addresses and contact information.
  • Upload RFA log sheets to CERPASS 1 maintenance database and update applicants’ order line requirements statuses in CERPASS 1 and CERPASS 2 that were pending RFA response, update s school information with new or additional contact information.
  • Conduct searches of websites for domestic and international schools and licensing authorities to verify addresses and contact information.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Any other duties applicable to the position

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 1 – 2 years of experience as an Information Input Specialist.
  • Prefer minimum of one year of office experience including reviewing and entering data.
  • Ability to enter data at a minimum of 10,000kph accurately.
  • Proficient with alpha and numeric data entry.
  • Basic to intermediate competence/proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiar with relational database programs and spreadsheets
  • Good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills required.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED; Some college preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of working hours.
  • Role involves frequent computer (viewing, mouse, keyboard use), and headset telephone operation.
