Business Analytics Leader

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Business Analyst to support our operations team who is located in the Philadelphia metro area. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing operational efficiency, data analysis, and process optimization within the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Work Schedule (Days & Time): Monday-Friday (day shift)

Location: Reporting primarily to the Philadelphia, PA office with some opportunity for remote work

Essential Functions

  1. Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
    • Generate regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance metrics and actionable insights.
  2. Process Improvement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
    • Recommend and implement process enhancements to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
  3. Documentation and Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational procedures, policies, and guidelines.
    • Create and manage databases to organize and track operational data, ensuring easy accessibility for the team.
  4. Project Support:
    • Assist in project management tasks, including tracking project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Contribute to the development of project plans, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
  5. Communication and Collaboration:
    • Act as a liaison between departments, fostering effective communication and information sharing.
    • Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on process improvements and business strategies.
    • Prepare clear and concise communications to convey complex information to stakeholders.
  6. Problem Solving:
    • Identify issues and bottlenecks in operational workflows and provide innovative solutions to address them.
    • Monitor and respond to operational inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  7. Data Integrity and Quality Assurance:
    • Implement data validation and quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of operational data.
    • Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Any other duties applicable to the position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, process improvement, and project coordination.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce reporting and analytics required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with business process modeling and workflow analysis tools is a plus.
